GFSA designs and manufactures a wide range of pressure vessels for both onshore and offshore applications. At GFSA we are capable of sizing equipment or working to specifications provided by our clients; we use our own in-house spreadsheets and Finglow to determine sizing and to complete the mechanical design. AutoCAD and SolidWorks are used to create our drawings for manufacture. We use our extensive in-house welding experience to select the most appropriate welding procedures and details for manufacture.
We adopt the Pressure Equipment Directive Pressure Vessel Standards to CE, PED, PD 5500 Cat 1, 2 and 3, ENASME VIII Div 1 U Stamp, M Stamp and other recognised international codes.
Product types include: vertical cylindrical, horizontal cylindrical, multi-compartmental cylindrical and jacketed pressure vessels. All pressure vessels are fully tested before despatch.
Pressure vessels are available in any of our materials including high alloys; we can also offer welding of dissimilar materials.
Our fabrications include a dished /cone-bottomed vessel which allows for smooth circulation, uniform heating and easy-emptying. Our standard refinements include: Finite Elements Calculations and Nozzle Loads, and we are able to consider a range of design cases outside of the pressure envelope.
Products can be finished by bead and shot blasting, painting, polishing, pickling and passivating. Depending on size, products can also be glass or rubber lined.
We also carry out all levels of Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) including: Leak Test, Hydro Test and Heat Treatment.
